I have always loved this line from France. One of the things I really like is they always have beautiful bohemian prints and lovely silhouettes (I'm really crushing on the pink and black top!). I love the fact that they are true to their style and don't change with trends. They are a line of clothing you can always count on to be perfect. Yea it's the weekend and I'm looking forward to going to one of the Sunday Farmers Market's. I'm starting to see some early peas and other yummy produce. I can't wait for warmer weather to come so we can have more fresh veggies and flowers. It's amazing that we can grow so many things in the NW, our farmers are miracle workers. I have a hard time growing anything but lettuce and carrots...not enough sun.

Isabel Marant's is typically known for her tomboy meets bohemian look but this spring it's all about the feminine. I love the flowing sheer silks, the embroidered details and the hippie prints. I can just see these pieces being worn out in the night life of Honolulu on a dreamy beach vacation.

Hello Friday!

Hello Everyone,
It's been a very grey and cold winter and I can't help but dream about the day when my family will be living in Maui. This house is what we would like to find or build in paradise. I love the old Hawaiian style of architecture wedded to modern aesthetics. I can't wait to wake up every morning and drink my coffee on that porch!
This is Valerie McMurrays home and I love how casual and chic it is, perfect for the beach.
This is what the outdoor shower would look like. You have to have one when you live on the beach especially if you surf!
Of course no home is complete without art work. This is an encaustic painting by Susan Rockford, I just love her work. The colors evoke the ocean and would look perfect on our walls.

Humanoid does it again this spring with easy pieces that mix up really well. I love the colors and textures of the fabrics so modern yet comfortable. Hello Friday!

Oh how I love Gary Graham! His choice and use of fabrics is always cutting edge and beautiful. I absolutely love the pleat work on the Louis Culafroy top and the pale shimmery colors are knocking me out. I also like contrasting darker fabric that is playing against the feminine. I really wish I would have designed this collection.
