I love what Raquel Allegra has done for fall. The shape are loose and the fabrics are soft and comfy. It the perfect combination of summer into fall at the beach. There is so much here I would wear and I love layers, it's how I dress myself. I have a hard time letting go of summer and continue to wear my Pua tops and dresses into fall and winter by layering with sweaters, shirts and jackets. I love seeing a silky dress with a tall boot. I'm crushing on the wide leg pant with the fold over waist and there are pockets!

Hello Friday!

Hey Everyone!


We our doing our last show of this season, we'll be at the Seattle Street Food Fest at Cal Andersen park on Capital Hill. The hours are from Friday 5-11pm (today) and Saturday 12-10pm.

We are working with Urban Craft Uprising Fair and there will be handmade (only) crafts of all kinds. The food will be bang up too, top chefs in the city are participating in this event. So come eat, shop and have some fun supporting local talent of all kinds!

                                                   Zero + Maria Cornejo

On a recent trip to Jamaica, Maria Cornejo became inspired by the culture. A mask souvenir and the Jamacian flag are what are represented in her Resort line for 2015. You can see the mask in the gorgeous caftan with the white and black print and the color blocks represent the flag. I love the long dress of white, blue and black, such a pretty shape, and of course I love the drape and loose cut of the clothes!

                                                Hisako Sato

Hisako Sato is my new crush! I love the way she drapes fabric, it's just so elegant. Hisako graduated from Bunka Fashion Collage in 1986 and after collage worked for a major clothing manufacturer. In 1994 she moved on to create her own line Beige. 

This is her new project called Raw+, I just love it. It's people like Hisako that inspire me to try new things and forge on. Thank you Hisako for such beautiful work.

I've been thinking about my work space the last few weeks and I feel like I need a change, I need more room for sure. I think a trip to Ikea for some organization is in order. Since I don't craft as much jewelry I've been wondering if I should re-purpose that space for a large cutting table...

What to Wear

                                                                   Island Shorts

                                                       Hi Everyone!


The last of my creations for this season are these cute little Island shorts, they are so perfect for a hot summer day. I had so much fun creating these! They are made from hand woven cotton and are hand block printed. They have an elastic waist for comfort and come in aqua, natural and henna. I adore!

I want to thank all of you who came out and supported Pua this summer, it means the world to me. I have one more show left then I will be in the studio working out the details for next spring & summer. "What to Wear" will be taking a little break but I will post things here and there.

              It's been so much fun and I couldn't have done it without you!

I never want summer to be over because I want to dress like this everyday. I love this line because it's pretty and comfy. I'm crushing on the pink strapless dress, the color is so yummy. I also love the gold print that they use on their fabrics such a great idea.
