I love the embroidered knit pants, cute and comfy! I also love the beaded clutch, the African necklace and the Shibori heart tunic. I heart Antik Batik.
Anna Sui's spring collection really speaks to me, I love the fabrics. I've always thought I should have lived in another time when people dressed elegant and richly. This collection draws from all cultures and time, I see Balinese mixed with Indian mixed with 1930's and more. This is why I love it so much, I guess it's timeless. Enjoy!
Hello Everyone! Now that we are in October I've been thinking about dressing up for Halloween. I've really been liking the Mexican tradition of "Dia de los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead".I like that it's a celebration of family and friends that have passed on, plus it's pretty!
I love this mask from Effigy Masks by Elisha Miller of Seattle. Elisha's shop is on ETSY. I just love the colors! It looks so real, not like a mask at all.
This window display from Romanza Gifts in Ballard is so fun! I would love to go to a party with a home decorated like this. I love all the glitter and color, color, color!
Why not paint some pumpkins?
Here is another ETSY artist "Hikari Designs" by Aya Casper of San Fransisco.
These really are pieces of art that you could hang on your walls.
ETSY has been a great resource for finding such beautiful masks. This one is from France and they are made by Laura Custodio, her ETSY shop is "Viva la Muerte"
You could always paint your face. Here is tutorial from MAC COSMETICS on how to make up a "day of the dead".
Andrea Lieberman Collection for spring is wonderful in it's simplicity. I love the loose silhouettes, they are very inviting shapes no matter what your age. I also like the restrained color pallet, so perfect for summer in the city. My favorite look is the open back top with the dip dyed skirt, that outfit is calling me.
Enjoy!

As I was cruising around the web and stumbled upon this cool jewelry line called Alchemy, it's from Melbourne, Australia. I just love how simple and chic it is.
The focus of the line is sustainable, natural materials which I think is perfect, especially for the NW and Hawaii. I can see using Kukui nut as beaded jewelry like this, it would be cool!
I love these olive wood slice necklaces, so pretty. It would be fun to take a nature hike and collect some fallen wood, seeds and other things and make some neat gifts for friends.
